Die Geschichte des Streetwork-Projekts Marischa<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Im Herbst 2012 erkannten zwei Studierende, dass es zwar einige soziale Angebote f\u00fcr Menschen in M\u00fcnster am Rande der Gesellschaft gibt, sich jedoch keines davon explizit an Personen im sexuellen Dienstleistungsgewerbe richtet. Weder existierten eine explizite Anlaufstelle noch bestimmte Ansprechpersonen, obwohl von einem entsprechenden Bedarf auszugehen war. Damit war die Idee eines eigenen Projekts geboren<\/strong><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nach der Gr\u00fcndung entstand sukzessive das Grundger\u00fcst und damit der Kern des Projekts, der noch heute, 10 Jahre sp\u00e4ter, gilt: Sofern die Betreffenden es w\u00fcnschen, sollen sie in das soziale und gesundheitliche Feld M\u00fcnsters integriert werden, von Leistungen profitieren und ihre individuellen Anliegen professionell und vorurteilsfrei besprechen k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In 2012, two students realized that there was no social offer in M\u00fcnster aimed at people in the sexual service industry.<\/span><\/em><\/span>There was neither an explicit <\/span><\/span><\/em>contact <\/span><\/span><\/em>point nor specific contact persons, although it was assumed that there was a<\/span><\/span><\/em>corresponding need. This gave birth to the idea of our own project. <\/span><\/span><\/em>After its <\/span><\/span><\/em>founding, the basic framework of the project<\/span><\/span><\/em>was gradually created, which is still valid today: If those affected wish it, they should be integrated <\/span><\/span><\/em>into M\u00fcnster’s <\/span><\/span><\/em>social<\/span><\/span><\/em>and health field, benefit from services and be able to discuss their individual concerns professionally <\/span><\/span>and without prejudice.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Im April 2013 startete die erste Streetwork auf der Siemensstra\u00dfe. Viele Adressierte waren von Anfang an aufgeschlossen, w\u00e4hrend bei anderen erst langsam Vertrauen aufgebaut werden musste. Die Streetwork-Tasche, zun\u00e4chst mit Visitenkarten und Kaffee best\u00fcckt, wurde schnell um Kondome erweitert; eine der ersten Wunsch\u00e4u\u00dferungen der Adressierten. So entwickelte sich das Projekt durch den direkten Kontakt zu den Sexarbeitenden, ihren Anliegen und Bedarfen kontinuierlich weiter und tut es immer noch.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The first street work started on Siemensstrasse in April 2013. Many recipients were receptive right from the start, while for others trust had to be built up slowly. The streetwork bag, initially stocked with business cards and coffee, was quickly expanded to include condoms; one of the first expressions of wishes from the addressee. The project developed continuously through direct contact with the sex workers, their concerns and needs and still does.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Durch den intensiven Kontakt zu den Sexarbeitenden er\u00f6ffneten sich immer mehr Bedarfe und Unterst\u00fctzungsangebote, die bis dahin rein vom ehrenamtlichen Engagement getragen wurden. So wurde 2016 vom Rat der Stadt M\u00fcnster die erste hauptamtliche Stelle bewilligt, die mit einer Sozialp\u00e4dagogin besetzt wurde. Diese konzentrierte sich vornehmlich auf die Streetwork auf der Siemensstra\u00dfe. Doch da sexuelle Dienstleistungen nicht nur im \u00f6ffentlichen Raum stattfinden, wurde im Jahr 2022 eine weitere hauptamtliche Sozialarbeiterin eingestellt, die sich insbesondere auf die aufsuchende Arbeit in Bordellen und Clubs konzentriert. S<\/span><\/span>o besteht das Projekt heute aus zwei hauptamtlichen Sozialarbeiter*innen und einem engagierten Team aus ehrenamtlichen, um den Bedarfen, W\u00fcnschen und Anliegen der Adressierten ad\u00e4quat und professionell gerecht werden zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The intensive contact with the sex workers opened up more and more needs and offers of support, which until then had been supported purely by voluntary work. In 2016, the M\u00fcnster City Council approved the first position to be filled by a social worker. This focused primarily on street work on Siemensstrasse. But since sexual services do not only take place in public spaces, another social worker was hired in 2022 who will focus in particular on outreach work in brothels and clubs. Today the project consists of two full-time social workers and a dedicated team of volunteers in order to be able to adequately and professionally meet the needs, wishes and concerns of those addressed<\/span><\/p>\n

Wir vernetzen uns! Mit unterschiedlichen Organisationen, vornehmlich denen, die mit Menschen in prek\u00e4ren Lebenslagen arbeiten, treten wir regelm\u00e4\u00dfig in Kontakt, um Synergien zu nutzen, Informationen auszutauschen, voneinander zu lernen und dadurch unsere Angebote ggf. anzupassen und zu verbessern. Einen weiteren Aufgabenbereich sehen wir in der \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit, um der Diskrimierung, Stigmatisierung und Tabuisierung der Gegenst\u00e4nde Sexarbeit und Prostitution und unserer Adressierten entgegenzuwirken. So organisieren wir immer wieder Infoveranstaltungen, beteiligen uns an Aktionstagen und B\u00fcndnissen oder ver\u00f6ffentlichen Stellungnahmen, Pressemitteilungen und Texte zu relevanten Themen (siehe Aktuelles).
