Einer, der seine ganz eigenen Vorstellungen von Recycling hat, der unfreundlich aus der Tonne schnauzt, wenn man die Mülltrennung missachtet! Die unerschrockene Filmemacherin Bianca Wiehmeier spürt dieser urbanen Legende der Wertstoffhöfe in Interviews mit Betroffenen nach, sie hat sich an die Fersen dieses sagenumwobenen Mannes geheftet, der entweder Mülltonnen-Manni oder Container-Paul heißt.

The residents of the city have a real problem: in their midst – or more precisely, in one of their waste paper bins – lives an oddball with his own unusual ideas about recycling. He pokes his head out of recycling bins and snaps if people violate the rules for separating rubbish. Through interviews with those affected, intrepid film maker Bianca Wiehmeier tracks the urban legend from the recycling center and is hot on the heels of this myth-shrouded man who goes by the name of either “Manni the Garbage Can Man” or “Paul the Recycling Freak”.
