Stage off Limits
Concert series every first Sunday of the month since 1996:
The concert series STAGE off LIMITS was begun by members of the Initiative Improvisierte Musik. The group has been active in staging concerts and intermedia projects in Münster since 1980

STAGE off LIMITS creates a platform in Münster for the exchange and communication of unusual, new, and interesting musical ideas. The concert series brings internationally experienced professional musicians to Münster, allowing audience members the chance to discover currents in the areas of improvised, electric, and electric-acoustic music.
Guest musicians from Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, England, Iran, Japan, Korea, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Canada, Australia, and the U.S.A. have appeared. IIM has also arranged exchanges that have led to exciting musical experiences with groups such as W.I.M. in Zurich, the London Composers' Collective, the Improvisers' Pool (Giessen, Germany), ARTist (Wiesbaden, Germany), and the Bremen MIB and musicians initiatives all over the world.
