Give back our land

In 1788 we were dispossessed of our land.
You came and stole us the land, just as if it was a small little thing, nobody would recognize.
And bold as you are, you took it with the justification: "TERRA NULLIUS" !

You tore out our roots
of the land we have lived on for hundreds of thousands of years
and without it, we can NOT exist!!
We can`t go on like this.

I`m getting tired...
Tired to see my brother drunken on the floor.
Tired to see my father, who gets chased by the police.
Tired to see my children and to know that they don`t have any chances in the future!

In their own land, THEIR MOTHERLAND!!

Now you may ask yourself: "Why? Anybody who wants to work can get work."
But this is a big problem...
Aboriginal teenagers who, instead of going to school in order to get educated, rob a supermarket, just to live the easy way, or Aboriginies living from welfare, have no meaningful possibilities, so that an Aborigine can get a feeling of his or her own worth, living as a foreigner, a stranger, in one’s own land. It is a natural development that someone will start doing illegal actions, that someone will get addicted to alcohol or any other drug, in order to forget the mess we live in !!

Or how would you react ?
And this is no justification !!
And I think it`s sad... so sad...
Can you now feel a bit with me ?

It happened so many years ago, but what shall we do to change it ?
To make it better for us Aboriginies?
It seems that these reasons are not enough for the white TOP-MANAGERS to give us OUR land back !

WE WANT OUR LAND BACK !!!

We want our land back...
Simply to get a home for our children...
Simply to get a home for our old mothers...

But the white industry doesn`t even think of giving us a little peace of our land.
And you know what the worst is ? That we get discriminated in a way that is unbelievable. Imagine, racial equality not from the beginning, no,

RACIAL EQUALITY SINCE 1975 !!!

Think about it...

Many laws for our land rights were enacted, but if the law granted us land,
the mining and other companies and industries would stand up to protest
and immediately these laws were smashed down.

So where is racial equality??

The white 'Australians' who exploit our land, legally, forget this problem,
even though they see it everyday with their own eyes.
But that doesn`t matter to them.
They don`t want to see it !
The only thing they see is PROFIT!!! and what is the best way to keep this luxurious life standard?!

That`s right!

Profit and luxury for what we have paid for with our own blood !!

And we are still bleeding!

But I want to stop this bleeding because this is our life potion!
And this time, I`m going to stand up and shout: STOP THIS BLEEDING!!
For us: Stop this bleeding!
For our ancestors: Stop this bleeding!
For our children: Stop this bleeding!

We can`t go on living like this any more.
And to stop this bleeding, there is only one way...

GIVE US THE LAND BACK!!

The land we have lived on for hundreds of thousands of years in peace and freedom...
